Client: Walker Corporation / Collins Square
Location: Collins Square, Melbourne
Completion Date: December 2025
Project Overview
In December 2025, following internal changes within the Collins Square Office Clearance Project, we were engaged by Walker Corporation to undertake a comprehensive office clearance across two commercial floors. The objective of the project was to remove all specified furniture assets efficiently and leave the floors clear, clean, and fully prepared for their next stage of use.

Scale and Execution
This project involved a focused yet high-volume clearance program, centred on the removal of mobile storage infrastructure across both floors. The scope of works included:
- Approximately 400 Mobile Storage Units
- Coordination across two full office floors
- Efficient staging, removal, and logistics to minimise disruption within the active Collins Square environment
Our team planned and executed the clearance methodically, ensuring all units were safely dismantled (where required), transported, and removed within the agreed timeframe.

Sustainable and Social Impact
Sustainability was a key consideration throughout the Collins Square Office Clearance Project. Our approach prioritised responsible asset handling and waste reduction:
- Asset Recovery: All mobile units were assessed for reuse and material recovery potential.
- Recycling: Metal components were separated and directed to approved local recycling facilities, ensuring responsible processing and diversion from landfill.
- Environmental Responsibility: The project aligned with best-practice waste management principles consistent with Collins Square’s sustainability objectives.
The Collins Square Office Clearance Project was delivered on schedule and to specification, successfully clearing both office floors of approximately 400 mobile units. The space was left neat, empty, and ready for future tenancy or redevelopment, while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility.
In December 2025, Walker Corporation faced a significant logistical challenge during internal transitions within the Collins Square precinct. They engaged our team to execute a comprehensive office clearance across two expansive commercial floors. The project demanded a precise objective: remove all specified furniture assets with minimal disruption, leaving the environment pristine and ready for its next operational phase.
By prioritizing speed, safety, and meticulous site management, we transformed two high-density office levels into “blank canvas” spaces. This project highlights our ability to manage high-volume asset removal within one of Melbourne’s most prestigious and active commercial hubs.
Strategic Scale and Execution
The Collins Square project centered on a high-volume clearance program that required expert staging and logistics. We focused primarily on the removal of 400 mobile storage units, a task that required more than just manual labor—it required a systematic decommissioning strategy.
To ensure success, our team implemented a multi-stage execution plan:
- Systematic Deconstruction: Many units required onsite dismantling to navigate tight corridors and elevator constraints. Our technicians used specialized tools to break down these units swiftly without damaging the building’s interior finishes.
- Vertical Logistics: Operating within an active skyscraper like Collins Square requires tight coordination with building management. We scheduled load-outs to avoid peak tenant hours, utilizing freight lifts efficiently to maintain a constant flow of materials from the floors to the loading dock.
- Methodical Site Clearing: We divided the two office floors into zones. As our teams cleared each zone, a secondary cleaning crew followed immediately behind to vacuum and wipe down the floor plates, ensuring the space met Walker Corporation’s high standards for handover.
Sustainable and Social Impact
Walker Corporation maintains a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, and our team mirrored this priority through a robust waste-diversion strategy. We moved away from traditional “dump and run” methods, opting instead for a circular economy approach.
1. Asset Recovery and Reuse
Before any unit left the building, we assessed its condition for potential second-life opportunities. By identifying units suitable for reuse, we extended the lifecycle of the office assets and reduced the demand for new manufacturing.
2. Advanced Metal Recycling
Since mobile storage units consist primarily of high-grade steel and aluminum, we implemented a strict separation process. We directed all non-reusable metal components to approved local recycling facilities. This process turned what could have been landfill waste into valuable raw materials for future use.
3. Landfill Diversion
Our methodical sorting process ensured that we diverted the vast majority of the 400 units from the waste stream. This alignment with best-practice waste management principles supported the broader sustainability goals of the Collins Square precinct.
We delivered the Collins Square Office Clearance Project exactly on schedule and within the defined budget. Our team cleared approximately 400 units, leaving two full office floors empty, neat, and prepared for immediate tenancy or redevelopment. Through proactive planning and a commitment to sustainable disposal, we provided Walker Corporation with a seamless transition that upheld their reputation for excellence and environmental responsibility.
