📍 Location: 15 William Street, Melbourne VIC
📅 Date: May 2025

In May 2025, our team completed a large-scale office clearance for Intermain. We transformed two floors (2,000 m²) into a success story for the circular economy.
Rapid Workspace Decommissioning
We cleared the site with precision, handling a massive inventory of assets:
- 300+ Corner Workstations: Disassembled and sorted for reuse.
- 300 Mobile Pedestals: Processed and kept intact for future owners.
- 100+ Task Chairs: Quality-checked and redirected.
- Storage Systems: Removed lockers, filing cabinets, and stationery units.
Community & Sustainability Impact
We view surplus furniture as a resource, not waste. Our team diverted 50% of all assets from landfill through a robust donation program. Local op shops, public schools, and families in need received high-quality professional equipment, turning a corporate exit into a community win.
Recycling for a Cause
We didn’t just recycle—we gave back. Our team processed all end-of-life metal components and donated 100% of the recycling proceeds to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation. This initiative funded vital cancer research while keeping metal out of the waste stream.
Seamless Internal Relocation
Beyond the clearance, we managed an internal reshuffle for Intermain. We moved 50 desks from Level 12 to Level 14, ensuring the new workspace was ready for immediate use. This dual-track approach allowed the client to maintain operations without downtime.
The Bottom Line
The 15 William Street project proves that office decommissioning can be both efficient and ethical. We delivered a sustainable outcome that supported local education, funded medical research, and honored our commitment to a greener Melbourne.
